Position Summary
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at St. Catherine, you will provide direct nursing care and support to residents in a long term care setting. You will work under the direction of registered nurses and physicians to ensure residents receive safe, high quality, and compassionate care.

You will play a key role in assessing resident needs, administering medications, supporting care planning, and supervising CNAs to ensure care is delivered with dignity, consistency, and respect.
What You Will Do
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and clinical guidelines
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered and document accurately
- Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to the RN or physician
- Assist with assessments and contribute to care planning and updates
- Supervise and support CNAs to ensure quality resident care
- Perform wound care and other skilled nursing procedures as permitted
- Document care, observations, and interventions in the electronic medical record
- Respond to resident needs and clinical situations in a timely and professional manner
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Promote resident dignity, safety, comfort, and independence

- Active LPN license in the State of North Dakota in good standing
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Compassionate, patient centered approach to care
- Ability to work effectively in a team based clinical environment
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Comfort with electronic medical records systems
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts including weekends and holidays

- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
- Ability to assist with resident transfers and mobility support
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 to 100 pounds with assistance or equipment

- Visual, auditory, and manual dexterity required for patient care and documentation
