Position Summary As a Dietary Aide at St. Catherine, you will support food service operations in a long term care setting. You will assist with meal preparation, tray service, and maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining environment while ensuring residents receive meals that meet their needs and preferences. You will work as part of a team to provide a positive dining experience that supports resident health, dignity, and satisfaction.
What You Will Do
Assist with preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines and resident needs
Deliver meal trays to residents and ensure accuracy of meal selections and special diets
Assist residents in dining areas as needed, promoting a pleasant and respectful dining experience
Collect and clean dishes, utensils, and meal service equipment
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, and food service equipment
Follow food safety, infection control, and sanitation procedures
Communicate resident meal preferences, concerns, or changes in intake to dietary and nursing staff
Assist with stocking food and supplies as needed
Support a safe, organized, and welcoming dining environment
