SMP Health is seeking a friendly and dependable Dietary Aide to join our team at St. Catherine North. In this role, you will help provide quality meal service to residents while supporting a positive dining experience in our long-term care communities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with meal preparation and food service
  • Set up and serve meals according to resident dietary needs
  • Prepare dining areas before and after meal service
  • Deliver meals and assist residents as needed during dining
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen and dining areas
  • Follow food safety, infection control, and dietary guidelines
  • Work closely with dietary and nursing teams to support resident satisfaction
  • Promote a welcoming and respectful dining experience for residents

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous food service, dietary, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred but not required
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
  • Reliable, dependable, and attentive to detail
  • Ability to follow sanitation, safety, and dietary procedures

Pay & Benefits

$18.00 – $22.00 per hour
